Here's a newly-inspired piece I just completed, called 'Sound garden'. It's getting to be that time of year when the summer flowers are blooming in gardens everywhere.
Here's a newly-inspired piece I just completed, called 'Sound garden'. It's getting to be that time of year when the summer flowers are blooming in gardens everywhere.
Like any creative person, I am always tinkering with different ways to express my conceptual thinking. I had this idea scribbled in my sketchbook for quite awhile and was waiting for some time to work on it. Lately, I've been trying to expand on a couple of earlier styles I already use in my illustration, and hopefully stumble upon something new. So, this seemed like the perfect time to try out a new style.
This work, done in Adobe Illustrator, incorporates my use of flat, iconic line work and fleshes it out with more dimension, layering and vivid color. I certainly hope you like it.
